Drug Uses
Nolvadex is used for healing of breast cancer that has spread to other sites in the body. It is also used along with other drugs to treat other types of breast cancer. It is used in women who are at high risk for breast cancer and in women with DCIS (after surgery and radiation) to decrease the risk of developing breast cancer. It can also be used for other condition as recommended by your physician.
How Taken
Take Nolvadex with a glass of clear water as prescribed by your doctor. Use Nolvadex with or without a meal. Swallow this medication whole. Do not break, crush, or chew before swallowing. Continue to take Nolvadex even if you feel well. Do not miss any dosages. Taking Nolvadex at the same time each day will help you to remember to take it.
Additional Information
Nolvadex may cause dizziness. These effects may worsen if Nolvadex is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Use Nolvadex with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this drug. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, visit your physician. This product should be used only by the patient for whom it has been advised. Do not take less or more or use it more often than directed by your doctor.
