Drug Uses
Inderal is indicated for treatment of high blood pressure, prevention of angina pectoris (chest pain), management of a heart condition called hypertrophic subaortic stenosis, curing and preventing certain abnormal or rapid heart rhythms, improvement of survival after a heart attack in certain patients, curing tremor, prevention of migraine headaches, and handling symptoms of adrenal gland tumors. It may be used alone or with other medicines. It may also be used for other condition as recommended by your doctor.
How Taken
Use Inderal as determined by your physician. Use Inderal with or without a meal, but it should be taken at the same time daily and consistently either on an empty stomach or with food. Don't take antacids containing aluminum within two hours of taking Inderal. Continue to use Inderal even if you feel well.
Additional Information
Inderal may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or lightheadedness. These effects may worsen if Inderal is taken with alcohol or certain other medications.
Use Inderal with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this product. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, visit your doctor. This pill should be used only by the patient for whom it has been advised. Do not take less or more or use it more often than advised by your doctor.
