Drug Uses
Bactrim is an antibiotic combination containing a sulfonamide antibiotic and is used for treatment of infections caused be certain bacteria.
How Taken
Take Bactrim with or without a meal. It is suggested to take it at the same time every day followed by a glass of clear water. Drink a few additional glasses of water, unless otherwise determined by your [[doctor|physician]. Do not stop taking Bactrim without your physician`s approval, even if you feel better.
Additional Information
Bactrim may cause you to become more sensitive to the sunlight. Avoid the sun, sunlamps, or tanning booths until you know how you react to this drug. Take a sunscreen or wear protective clothing if you must be outside for more than a short time. Do not share this drug with others for whom it was not determined. Don't use this drug for other health conditions. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, talk to your physician.
